Lisle, IL — Benedictine University has partnered with Deltak edu to develop, market and recruit students for a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree that can be completed entirely online. In 2002, Benedictine University launched an online M.B.A. program in partnership with Deltak edu.
The online M.P.H. degree is designed to combine Benedictine’s outstanding public health curriculum with the convenience of online instruction. The flexibility of online learning is suited for adult students with busy work or personal schedules who want to earn an advanced degree at a highly credited institution such as Benedictine.
Benedictine University offers two online M.P.H. program concentrations to include Administration of Health Care Institutions and Disaster Management.
The Administration of Health Care Institutions concentration is designed for people who currently work or intend to work in organizations engaged in the administration of health and medical care. The Disaster Management concentration emphasizes the skills needed to prevent disasters from a health standpoint, assess risk, develop plans, communicate with various organizations and populations, act in accordance with established models and practices and aid in recovery.
“Our faculty combines seasoned full-time professors with experienced public health practitioners in order to provide our students with an in-depth and industry relevant education,” said Dr. Alan Gorr, dean of the College of Education and Health Services at Benedictine University. “The demand for public health graduates is expanding throughout health care and related institutions and industries.”
