Gonzaga University Celebrates First Graduates and Continued Growth in Online Masters of Arts Programs

Spokane, WA — Earlier this summer seventy Gonzaga University students were the first to graduate from the school’s fully online Masters of Arts in Organizational Leadership program.  Twenty two students traveled to Spokane, WA from as far away as New Hampshire, New York, and Southern California to participate in commencement ceremonies and celebrate their graduation. 

Gonzaga University, one of 28 Jesuit institutions in the United States, believed the right implementation of online education could effectively meet their Jesuit mission and provide tremendous value for the learner and the institution.

Graduate Joe McCool commented, “I think there was a spirit present in the online program…you have an idea that the instructors are trying to sharpen not only your mind, but also your heart, your soul, your identity and the relationships that you have in this world.” 

McCool and the hundreds of students currently enrolled in Gonzaga Online programs were recruited by Deltak edu, Inc. on behalf of Gonzaga.  Through a close partnership with Gonzaga, Deltak provides the marketing, student recruitment and support services for Gonzaga’s online programs.  The Gonzaga and Deltak partnership help students like McCool achieve their goals.  “I felt as if I had a team of people supporting me on my walk through this program,” commented McCool.
